Artykuł analizuje kulturowe i językowe konsekwencje wojny rosyjsko-ukraińskiej, koncentrując się na niszczeniu dziedzictwa, prześladowaniu elit intelektualnych oraz represjach wobec języka ukraińskiego. Autor wskazuje, że dewastacja zabytków, muzeów i bibliotek stanowi nie tylko naruszenie prawa międzynarodowego humanitarnego, lecz także próbę wymazania pamięci zbiorowej i tożsamości symbolicznej Ukrainy. Śmierć pisarzy, artystów i ludzi kultury przywołuje historyczne analogie do „Rozstrzelanego Odrodzenia”, ujawniając strategię eliminacji elit narodowych.
