Abstrakt

Artykuł podejmuje problem wiarygodności mediów fact-checkingowych w warunkach nasilającej się polaryzacji politycznej. Punktem wyjścia jest założenie, że klasyczne czynniki legitymizacji instytucjonalnej – takie jak transparentność metodologiczna, niezależność organizacyjna oraz kompetencje eksperckie – mogą okazać się niewystarczające w środowisku głębokiej segmentacji komunikacyjnej. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja strukturalnych uwarunkowań percepcji bezstronności instytucji fact-checkingowych oraz zaproponowanie koncepcji pluralizacji redakcyjnej jako mechanizmu wzmacniającego ich odporność percepcyjną. Artykuł ma charakter teoretyczno-koncepcyjny i opiera się na analizie literatury dotyczącej propagandy, systemów medialnych oraz teorii wiarygodności instytucjonalnej. W zakończeniu wskazano ograniczenia postulowanego modelu oraz obszary wymagające dalszych badań empirycznych.
